World National heritage in Japan (2/2)
This time we’ll introduce you another 2 national heritage in Japan.

This is the first place which registered to the world heritage.
The cedar tree called “Jomon Sugi” is famous. The age of this tree is over 7,000 years.
To see this cedar tree, you have to walk around 5 hours, so you can feel the satisfaction by seeing this tree. Also, this is the place where is the stage of Studio Ghibli called “Mononoke Hime”.

This island is located in Tokyo. You can see the beautiful nature and many endemic species. The difficult point of this place is inconvenient transport. We have to take the ferry which is only operate one in a week and it takes over a day from Tokyo to this island. Also you have to take a hotel and guide, so if you want to visit this island, you need to prepare well.
