Shibuya 渋谷
Shibuya [渋谷/しぶや] is one of the biggest towns that attract the young. It is also known as the birthplace of many new cultures.
TOURING SPOT
The dog statue called “Hachi” [忠犬ハチ公/ちゅうけんはちこう]
This is the famous meeting point at Shibuya. “Hachi” is the name of dog, that waiting for the owner for a decade. There is a Hollywood movie “Hachi: A Dog’s Tale” is came from here. There are not only foreign tourists but also many Japanese are taking photos in this place.

Scramble crossing [スクランブル交差点/すくらんぶるうさてん]
This is also the highlight spot at Shibuya. Teeming multitudes are cross the road after signal is changed. Many foreign tourists are taking photos in this place. Also the event like sports and Halloween are held, this scramble crossing become full of multitudes.
Center City Street [センター街/せんたーがい]
This is the main street of Shibuya. There are many restaurants, record store, and variety stores. Many new cultures for young are created in this street.
“Omotesando” street [表参道通り/おもてさんどうどおり]
This street is connecting “Shibuya” and “Harajuku”. There are many famous luxury brand stores in this street. This is probably an exaggeration, but it looks like “Champs Elysees” in France. In the winter season, this street is illuminated beautifully by 500,000 LED lights.
