Yamaguchi prefecture 山口県
“Yamaguchi” prefecture is located in extreme west of Honshu region.
This bridge is connected to “Tsunoshima”. The long straight bridge which is 1780 meters is great to go driving. “Tsunoshima” have white sand and beautiful green sea, so it is used for many Japanese movies and TV dramas.
This bridge is connected to “Fukuoka” prefecture. It was completed in 1973, and at that time it was the largest bridge in the world.
It’s a Japanese name for a puffer. It’s recognized as a poison fish, but we Japanese people eat it. “Yamaguchi” is famous for this “Fugu”. The most delicious way is eat it, is “Sashimi”(cutted raw).
Of course it’s dangerous so there is a licensed cook who can dress the fish and milk the poison. Do not do it by yourselves.
