Houtou noodle 宝塔ラーメン
“Houtou” [ほうとう]noodle is one of the famous noodle which made by flour.
“Houtou” noodle is mainly eaten in Yamanashi prefecture.
The feature of this noodle is thick noodle and miso based soup.
Also, there are many vegetables in this noodle like carrots, pumpkin, onion, mushrooms.
“Houtou” noodle is served by the iron pot with a handle, so it can keep the hot until you finish eating.
In summer, there is another “Houtou” noodle called “Ozara” is popular.
“Ozara” is the cold noodle with warm thick soup.
