Shoyu ramen 醤油ラーメン (Soy sauce noodle)
“Ramen” is a noodle which Japanese improved.
Today about “Shoyu Ramen”.
Many Japanese people love to eat ramen.
The origin came from China, improvements were made in Japan, and the shape, and taste became like now.
There are many different flavors, so I’d like to introduce the origin and trivia of each flavor.
It’s the first flavor made in Japan. Ramen was first made around Meiji period, which was sold in street stalls. In 1910, a shop in Asakusa sold the first ramen inside the shop.
Compared to other flavors, it’s has a light taste.
The famous towns of Shoyu ramen is, Asahikawa (Hokkaido), Kitakata (Fukushima), Asakusa (Tokyo), and Onomichi (Hiroshima).
