Today about “shouji” and “fusuma”.
“Shouji” and “Fusuma” are the sliding door which used as door and partition room.
Both “shouji” and “fusuma” use Japanese paper.
The difference between “shouji” and “fusuma” is the thickness.
“Fusuma” is thick than “shouji”, so it can keep the privacy.

As I said, they are made from Japanese paper.
The big feature of Japanese paper is that they can control the humidity.
So, they are preferably use in Japanese house, but nowadays due to the spread of air conditioner, the amount are decreasing.
